Michael VickSpike Lee has inspired me since I was very young. In high school, I even created a film project for a class based on one of his movies. He has just released his feature film, Red Hook Summer depicting the time a young boy spends living with his grandfather in the Red Hook Projects in Brooklyn.
It is well known that Mr. Lee is a “sneaker-head” and has a special affinity and relationship with the Jordan brand. He tapped me to create some custom sneakers to celebrate his new film. Check out how I created these new sneakers in the film below.
